An old inn in Viterbo hoisted a picturesque sing painted by a local artist and portraying "Three Kings". The sign was said to bring luck to the people who touched it. The news spread among the Allied troops during the latest war and the Anglo-American soldiers jumped in the alley to touch the sign with their own hands. One of them even made a big offer to the owner of the Inn to buy this sign. The offer was rejected and in order to avoid damage or theft the "precious" sign was brought inside the Restaurant, where you can still see it nowadays.
